Hoffman-Boston Elementary School has a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum focus. Their curriculum is delivered through problem-solving and project-based learning activities that will enable students to become successful contributors and competitive members of the global community.

One project that contributes to Hoffman-Boston’s STEM focused-approach is made possible through a partnership with the George Mason University’s Center for Digital Media Innovation and Diversity, and funding from Dell. The project allows students and their parents to be introduced to STEM concepts and pathways through robotics workshops, technology demonstrations, and parent academies.
